Yerevan—The Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS) today resumed its lecture series entitled “Establishment of Civil Society and Formation of Constitutional State in Armenia: Key Issues and New Challenges” within the framework of its youth school program, launched in 2011.
The first session of the new series of seminars was devoted to “Law and Justice in Transitional (Non-Legal) States: Violation of the Principle of Equal Rights.” The keynote speaker was Manvel Sargsian, ACNIS director, and political scientist, whose presentation covered theoretical material closely linked with the facts derived from the Armenian experience.
Raffi K. Hovannisian, Armenia’s first Minister of Foreign Affairs, ACNIS Founder and President, welcomed the seminar-course program participants.
As previously announced, thirteen weekly seminar-courses will be held once a week. They are open to the public.
