Yerevan—The Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS) today released the inaugural issue of the new ACNIS quarterly public policy publication, entitled “The Changing World: Viewpoints from Yerevan,” during a special presentation-seminar held at the Center’s office. The meeting brought together the quarterly’s contributors, other leading analysts, policy specialists, and members of the press.

Yerevan—Today’s lecture at the youth school of the Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS) was devoted to the role of civil society in the process of democratization. The guest speaker was Armen Grigoryan, Chairman of the “Democracy for Development” NGO. During the presentation the facts derived from the experience added spice to his thorough speech.

Yerevan—The Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS) within the framework of its youth school program today convened the second session of a thematic workshop series, entitled “Peculiarities of Transitional Societies,” with a presentation by ACNIS analyst Saro Saroyan. Yerevan—Yerevan—The Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS) today entered the second stage of the seminar-courses on “Citizen-Society-State Triangle,” marked with the presentation by Hovsep Khurshudian, ACNIS senior analyst. The first lecture within the new series of thematic lectures, entitled “The Diaspora’s Impact on Political Processes and State Building in Armenia,” was delivered in an atmosphere of active and interested participation of the audience.
