Everyone understands that after it failed at everything possible and even impossible, the current government threatens the existence of the state. Therefore, the people, by simple logic, should have united to change the situation. However nothing of the kind happened, since according to some opinions, the organizers of such efforts failed to formulate their goals correctly and precisely. We should definitely agree with this opinion, but is it the main reason why there is no public mobilization or is the reason more profound?
There has been a problem of mutual trust in Armenia for the last thirty years since independence. According to sociological surveys, the more prosperous the country is, the higher is the level of mutual trust of the people, and vice versa. It may also be interpreted in another way: the higher is the level of mutual trust, the higher is the welfare of the country, and the establishment of institutions.
Any movement, or any organized activity is in general based on mutual trust. And mutual trust stems from the observance of agreements and principles, without which it is impossible to achieve the set goals.
In order to be able to mobilize others, the people who appear in the square, should first of all be able to ensure rules to organize: transparent mechanisms of decision-making, i.e., have structure, principles and rules that are visible and acceptable to all who are invited to join them.
The main problem of Armenia is the lack of mutual trust and the way of organization. It is due to their absence, that political parties, various organizations and state institutions are discredited.
The same goes with business, the sphere is different, but the essence is the same. It is not accidental that it is impossible to create joint stock companies in Armenia, because there are no transparent rules for decision-making, there is no mutual trust, as a result, any participatory sphere leads to conflicts and mutual distrust. Political parties, public movements, even the parliament, are in fact joint-stock organizations.
As a conclusion, we should state that the primary task for the establishment of successful political and public movements is to establish such mechanisms of organization that will allow to increase the level of mutual trust.
